When you come to the north of Argentina you will discover that many stores still prefer cash.
In recent years the Argentine currency (AR$) was very variable, but in recent months it has been stabilizing.
Currently the conversion is 1000 AR$ for 1 USD and almost the same for the EURO. (April 2024)
We still have the “official dollar” and the “blue dollar.” The “blue dollar” is more convenient than the official one and is the exchange rate you have when exchanging dollar bills into Argentine pesos. The official rate applies when paying by credit card.
In Purmamarca and Tilcara the best way to have cash if you don’t have dollar bills is to send money from Wester Union.
The Westen Union office in Purmamarca is located 20 meters from the main square (Jalka Coffe Store) and in Tilcara on Bolivar Street .

In Eco Tiny Cabin we prefer digital payments so we accept all off them. From Paypal to Crypto you can pay for your stay in the most convenient way 😉👍
